A Moment with Matt

Today’s Message: “Hopeless to Hopeful”

On this Good Friday, Pastor offers a tender reflection on one of the most difficult days in the Christian story. He reminds us that the disciples knew what it felt like to be overwhelmed — their teacher, mentor, and friend was gone, and fear filled the spaces where hope once lived. Their grief mirrors the moments in our own lives when we feel lost, uncertain, or abandoned by what we thought we could count on.

Yet even in that darkness, Pastor gently points us back to the truth Good Friday holds: God is still near. Even when we cannot see the way forward, even when hope feels out of reach, God is working in His time, preparing blessings we cannot yet imagine. What feels like an ending is often the quiet beginning of something sacred.

This short reflection invites us to pause, breathe, and trust that the same God who carried the disciples through their darkest day is carrying us too.

Today’s Message: “Love One Another”

Pastor invites us into the heart of Maundy Thursday, returning to Jesus’ words in Matthew 26:26–28, where He breaks bread, blesses the cup, and reveals the meaning of His sacrifice. With his familiar calm and tenderness, Pastor reminds us that this moment wasn’t only about the Last Supper — it was Jesus showing us what love looks like when it gives everything.

He reflects on how Maundy comes from the Latin mandatum, meaning “command” — Jesus’ call to love one another as He has loved us. In the quietness of this holy night, Pastor encourages us to pause, remember the depth of Christ’s love, and carry that same love into our everyday lives.

A grounding word of scripture, a gentle reminder of grace, and a moment to breathe in God’s presence — all wrapped into a simple, beautiful message for Holy Week.

Today’s Message: God Never Lets Us Get Lost”

In a world that can feel scattered or uncertain, this message offers a steady reassurance: God Himself breathes life into our dry places. He restores what feels worn out. He leads us into the right spaces, the right seasons, and the right purpose — not by our striving, but by His Spirit at work in us.

It’s a gentle reminder that we are never without direction, never without hope, and never without the presence of the One who knows exactly where we belong.
