A Moment with Matt

Today’s Message: Speak Life Like Jesus”

From grace to love, from hope to forgiveness, His words weren’t just spoken—they were life-giving. And they still are.

We’re invited not only to hear those words, but to carry them forward. To speak with kindness. To share hope. To offer grace.

This short message is a gentle call to listen deeply and speak boldly—because when we echo the words of Jesus, we become part of His healing work in the world.

Today’s Message: “I’ve Fallen & Can’t Get Up

Romans 5:21 to remind us of a powerful truth: God’s grace is greater than our failures.

We live in a world that never stops moving—a world where it’s easy to stumble, to fall, and to feel lost. But scripture tells us that even when sin seems to reign, grace reigns even more. We’ve all fallen short. We’ve all missed the mark. And yet, God doesn’t leave us there.

All we have to do is ask. Ask for help. Ask for mercy. And God, in His endless grace, reaches down to lift us up again.

Today’s Message: “A Clean Slate

Pause and remember the incredible gift God offers each of us—a fresh start. Psalm 32 reminds us how blessed we truly are: because of Jesus, we are given a clean slate, a renewed heart, and the chance to begin again.

As we enter the season of Lent, this truth becomes even more powerful. Lent isn’t about guilt or heaviness—it’s about remembering what Jesus has done for us and embracing the freedom that comes from His forgiveness. It’s a season that calls us back to grace, back to gratitude, and back to the God who never stops offering renewal.

Today’s Message: “Faith Finds a Way

Sometimes the miracle is just one bold step away — we just need to see it differently. Faith isn’t always about walking through the front door. Sometimes it’s about stepping back, finding another way, and trusting that God honors the love and persistence of those who believe. The miracle is there. Let’s not be afraid to come at it from a different angle.

Worship

We worship in person on Sunday mornings at both our Franklin campus, located just outside of Old Town Bellevue on Franklin Street, as well as our Capehart Campus located in western Bellevue on Capehart Road. We offer a mix of traditional, contemporary as well as blended worship services. We also offer online worship as well. Click on "Worship" for more information and insight.

Missions

Serving is part of who we are at St. James. Both inside and outside of the church. Throughout the year, we provide numerous opportunities to give through our time, talents, and resources.
