Our Mission
At St. James, we cherish the opportunity to share God’s love with children from our community. Children are encouraged and welcomed to participate in the fullness of life in our faith community. Children have opportunities to learn about God in Sunday School, Sunday morning worship, VBS, and so much more! It would be our privilege to get to know your children and learn about God’s love together!
Our Services
For the School Year (September – May)
Children's Sunday School
Children’s Sunday School is held from 11:00am-12:00pm at our Capehart Campus. We use a rotation model and focus on one Bible story each month. We welcome all children (ages 3 years – 5th grade) to Sunday School where they will discover exciting Bible stories, activities, crafts, and games which challenge them to grow in their faith so that they can proclaim the good news of God’s love and serve God and their neighbors.
Youth Group
Youth 6th - 12th grades are invited to grow in their faith through games, stories, and activities each Sunday from 11am-12pm at our Capehart Campus.

Vacation Bible School
For those just finishing 4-year-old preschool through 5th grade with youth volunteers beginning with 6th graders and up.
During the school year, on Wednesday evenings at our Capehart campus, we offer “United Wednesdays” where we gather for a meal and then break off into age-appropriate groups for adult Bible study, movies, games, crafts, learning and fun! 5:30pm - Dinner; 6:00pm Adult Pastor-Led Bible Study/Youth Group (6th-12th grade)/Children's Group (Pre-K to 5th)
